The HBO True Blood VILF website was a campaign to promote the release of True Blood Season 3 on DVD & Blu-ray disc.
I worked with ActionScript extraordinaire Craig Beswetherick building a PHP powered API on our server so that data could be posted to and from the database to the Flash application.
The site enabled users to select from a list of vampires that they like from the show and vote for them.
Instead of opting for an AMFPHP gateway a RESTful API was used to make calls to a server which then returns json objects to the Flash layer for processing.
