The Away We Go Memory Map allows users to add their own memories to a location with a music track of their choosing.
The application was built by Kevin Young who integrated the flash with the We7 music service to retrieve a list of artists and tracks.
I built the backend code for this using an AMFPHP gateway that provided methods for the flash layer to access latitude and longitude values for a users location and pin point their memory on the map.
Each users’ memory could then be retrieved and added to the map.
