InterLect - Interactive Lecturing (Final Year University Project)
The purpose of the final year project was to come up with an innovative idea, in which I chose the area of Multimedia. The website is a way of Lecturers being able to post lectures on an interactive website where students can log in and view each lecture in a variety of different multimedia. During the course of this project I had regular meetings with a supervisor, presented a project presentation, completed an outline report and main end of project report (see below).
The site was built solely in Flash using ActionsScript & PHP. Powerpoint lecture slides can be integrated into the online lecture.
Final Year Project Report
Oasis On The Web (Macromedia Flash & Actionscript Version)
This project was a year long final year project that taught the importance of content management, interaction design & web security. Because of the flexibility of this project, and based on a previous year 2 project, I was able to build a website based on my favourite music group Oasis. This enabled me to learn how to use Macromedia Flash & Actionscript. The project was marked on the complexity of the code used & a log book that has to be kept up-to-date during the duration. XML was used to place images into flash using the slideshow.
Built using Flash with PHP, XML & Actionscript programming languages. The site uses Actionscript based preloaders to load all multimedia.
