James Bond DVD Website

A flash-driven website for the popular James Bond franchise. I was in charge of the back end code building object orientated code for the Flash developer to plug into an AMFPHP gateway. MySql stored procedures were used to handle collections of content items that can be filtered and manipulated using passed in variables from the flash application.

An admin system handled content relationships for character to film. For example the user would double click on a actor and he/she would be assigned to a particular title.

This used JQuery remote ajax calls to grab the data from an ajax PHP page.

I was involved with the following tasks at Substance:
	Contracted to work on the new James Bond on DVD website
	Built an admin system for the inclusion of large amounts of content, this included a relationship builder, so that bond characters, weapons and vehicles can be related to a particular bond title in a MySql database
	Built a PHP OO based XML Reader that reads and validates an XML file from the Fox Microsite Builder and automatically populates the data into MySql database tables using MySql stored procedures
	Created an AMFPHP Gateway class to plug OO PHP classes into the flash application
	Built a AMFPHP Gateway using PHP and CURL to send registration submissions to the Fox gateway
